    그린스보로 한인연합감리교회는 하나님의 말씀인 성경을 신앙과 삶의 중심에 두고, 온 세대가 하나님을 온 마음과 뜻과 정성을 다해 예배드리기를 힘쓰는 교회입니다.

    우리는 성경의 진리 위에 굳게 서서, 오랜 세월 교회가 이어온 바른 신앙의 전통을 소중히 여기며, 하나님께서 주신 이성으로 시대와 세상을 바르게 분별하고자 합니다. 또한 신앙이 지식에 머무르지 않고, 하나님의 은혜를 인격적으로 경험하며 삶으로 이어지는 살아 있는 믿음이 되기를 원합니다.

    우리는 함께 모여 하나님을 높이고, 말씀과 기도와 찬양 가운데 주님의 임재를 경험하며, 예배를 통해 새 힘을 얻어 다시 세상으로 나아갑니다. 예배는 주일의 한 시간에 머무는 것이 아니라 우리의 삶을 하나님께 드리는 출발점입니다.

    이러한 신앙의 길에는 존 웨슬리의 신학적 유산을 따라 성경(Scripture)을 중심으로 전통(Tradition), 체험(Experience), 이성(Reason)을 함께 소중히 여기는 감리교회의 신학적 전통이 담겨 있습니다.

    우리가 바라는 신앙의 열매는 분명합니다.
    성화(Sanctification)의 은혜 안에서 날마다 예수 그리스도를 더욱 닮아가는 제자가 되는 것입니다. 말씀으로 변화되고, 예배 가운데 하나님을 사랑하며, 일상의 자리에서 이웃을 섬기고 사랑함으로 예수 그리스도의 복음을 살아내는 것, 이것이 우리가 함께 걸어가고자 하는 제자의 길입니다.

    교회는 완성된 사람들이 모이는 곳이 아니라, 하나님의 사랑과 은혜 안에서 함께 자라가며 그리스도를 닮아가는 믿음의 공동체입니다.

    Greensboro Korean United Methodist Church is a church that places the Bible, the Word of God, at the center of our faith and life, and seeks to worship God with all our heart, soul, and devotion across all generations.

    We seek to stand firmly on the truth of Scripture, to value the sound traditions of faith that the church has carried on throughout the years, and to rightly discern our times and the world through the reason God has given us. We also desire our faith not to remain merely as knowledge, but to become a living faith that personally experiences God's grace and is expressed through our lives.

    We gather together to exalt God, to experience the presence of the Lord through His Word, prayer, and praise, and through worship, we receive new strength and go back into the world. Worship is not limited to one hour on Sunday; it is the starting point of offering our entire lives to God.

    This journey of faith reflects the theological tradition of the Methodist Church, following the theological heritage of John Wesley, which values Scripture as the foundation while also holding Tradition, Experience, and Reason together.

    The fruit of faith that we desire is clear.
    It is to become disciples who grow more and more like Jesus Christ each day through the grace of Sanctification. To be transformed through the Word, to love God through worship, and to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ by serving and loving our neighbors in our everyday lives—this is the path of discipleship that we desire to walk together.

    The church is not a place where perfect people gather. Rather, it is a community of faith where we grow together in God's love and grace and become more like Christ.
